During these unprecedented times, Nigel has been delivering very successful online training courses on a range of topics including NEC3 & 4, JCT and 50 Contractual Nightmares.
The training is delivered through an online platform such as Microsoft Teams with high levels of interaction, including questions and group discussion, and receives excellent feedback from delegates.
“We felt it important to encourage the team to work in the normal way despite current difficult circumstances and vital to continue with our team training. Nigel skillfully walked team members with differing levels of knowledge and experience through the training session and created an enjoyable atmosphere with productive outputs. Thank you.” Adrian Hill, Director of Operations at Scape Procure

Given recent guidance from the Cabinet Office that public bodies (contracting authorities) and suppliers should agree to act on an open book basis (Action Note PPN 02/20), CIPFA and Stradia are collaborating to provide advice and support on how these arrangements can best be implemented.
Open Book Contract Management (OBCM) provides a clear process to support the challenges caused by COVID-19 – including delayed projects; reduced productivity due to social distancing; additional costs for suppliers; delay and increased cost to material supply; furloughed employees; and expired service contracts.
To support organisations interested in learning more about how to deliver services or projects through OBCM, Stradia and CIPFA are planning to deliver online training and advice. More information to follow next week!
